Mayor Bhalla encourages employees of Hoboken businesses to get tested for COVID-19

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla is encouraging employees of all Hoboken businesses who have frequent interactions with customers to get tested for COVID-19. The City of Hoboken has partnered with ivee to offer new testing options for employees of any Hoboken business (and residents) this Wednesday and Thursday at the Multi-Service Center (124 Grand Street) between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.

Contact tracing from the Hoboken Health Department has indicated some recent COVID-19 cases have been traced to employees at various Hoboken bars and restaurants.

“We encourage all employees of Hoboken businesses who are in contact with a number of customers on a regular basis to get tested for COVID-19, especially given the surge in recent cases,” said Mayor Bhalla. “Our small business employees have been going above and beyond to help keep our residents safe, and we in turn as a City want to do everything we can to ensure their well-being. I thank ivee for working with us to provide additional testing for employees and residents this week.”

Appointments with ivee are required and available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be scheduled using the following links:
